Bakewell is idyllically situated on the banks of the river Wye, the biggest town in the Peak District National Park’s mellow stone buildings, medieval five-arched stone bridge and quaint courtyards. Bakewell is also extremely popular with visitors and offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as a frequent local markets and is probably best known for its unique and delicious Pudding.
Anne’s Cottage is a stone built cottage situated close to the centre of Bakewell, with on-street parking outside the cottage. Centrally located in a beautiful part of the Peak District National Park, this is an ideal location for exploring on foot with lovely walks from the doorstep, or riding a bike through the many quiet lanes and footpaths of the area. This cottage is full of character and includes two bedrooms, with king sized beds and their own private bathrooms. Pets are welcome – please note that this cottage does not have any outdoor space – but there are numerous short and long walks available from the door.
