Historically the village is known as the famous ‘plague village’ and the village has a popular pub a short walk from the cottage, two village shops, various cafes and a range of shops and eating places in the courtyard of Eyam Hall.

Lavender Cottage is a stone built Grade II listed cottage situated close to the centre of Eyam, with on-street parking outside the cottage. Centrally located in a beautiful part of the Peak District National Park, this is an ideal location for exploring on foot with lovely walks from the doorstep, or riding a bike through the many quiet lanes and footpaths of the area. This cottage is full of character and includes two bedrooms, each with double beds and a family bathroom upstairs.  Pets are welcome – please note that this cottage does have a lawned garden area to the front but it is not enclosed.
